Last year, this year photos of my overgrowth...lol

We've been trying very hard this year to get rid of the overgrowth in my yard. This is how it looked when we bought the place 3 yrs ago. Behind that big overgrowth in the middle sat a 30 yr old kayak pool which had been neglected for at least 10 yrs and had to be torn down. Of course, you can't see it from the photo

You can see the pool in the winter when the green is gone. Thank god it's gone!

And this is what we've ( I should say I've) got done so far. I still have a LOT to go, but it looks so much better now.

Talk about a lot of work!!!

Ah, how good it is to see the light of day! Probably feels like you have more property now. Congratulations, you have really made progress.

So tell me, what is a 'kayak pool'?

If you look at my second photo, you can see the old dilapidated pool. Here's a link to a photo of a newer Kayak pool.

My husband and I are thinking of putting a pond where the pool once stood to make use of the huge hole. It's gonna take awhile, but we'll get this yard looking nice. ;)

Here is a link that might be useful: Kayak pool
