I have these in my garden. They are not woodland plants but prairie plants. You said they are in full sun and the more the better for them. They are slower taking off in the spring but once we start getting hotter early summer days they take off like a rocket, so I hope yours do the same. Keep and eye out on the Ox-eye. They can take over once they get going.

I was talking about it at the nursery with the nursery lady this week and she said her indigo was a slow starter too. Hope that helps, but I know full sun is the way to go for them

Thanks, the sun hasn't been out much lately because it's been raining on and off. Perhaps both plants are unhappy due to the lack of sun.

Hopefully, the warmer weather should kick things off.
