That isn't trillium. It is striped wintergreen (Chimaphila maculata)

I agree with Lycopus. But they certainly ARE cute and obviously happy in that spot!

Thanks lycopus and esh - I guess that's why I had trouble finding a trillium picture that looked like them. I thought for sure with the three leaf combos they had to be trillium. Either way, you're right esh, they do look happy.

Also called pipsissewa. One of the flavorings in root beer.
