| i just planted three native solomon's seal that came from a mail order. the plants are a good size and look great. watered them after planting. today (one day later) they look horrible. limp and yellowing. any ideas? too much water? too little? planted too deep?? i desperately do not want to loose these plants!
(cross posted from native, sorry about that, just want as much help as possible) |

| they are pretty hardy. the same thing happened to some that i transplanted. the first year they died off fairly quickly and i thought for sure they wouldnt make it. But they came back in full force the following year. Good luck. |

| thanks. that is what most people are saying. it seems to be the only thing dying off after transplanting so i made myself more anxious than is necessary. i'm hopeful for next year! |
