i just planted three native solomon's seal that came from a mail order. the plants are a good size and look great. watered them after planting. today (one day later) they look horrible. limp and yellowing. any ideas? too much water? too little? planted too deep?? i desperately do not want to loose these plants!

(cross posted from native, sorry about that, just want as much help as possible)

they are pretty hardy. the same thing happened to some that i transplanted. the first year they died off fairly quickly and i thought for sure they wouldnt make it. But they came back in full force the following year. Good luck.

thanks. that is what most people are saying. it seems to be the only thing dying off after transplanting so i made myself more anxious than is necessary. i'm hopeful for next year!
