Aesculus parviflora Sources near London ON

I'm a suburban gardener in an older neighbourhood in London, Ontario. I've lately started looking for an Aesculus parviflora for my back garden, which is fairly shaded between two red oaks and the neighbour's tulip tree. Although I realize that it is not native to my region, I know it can do very well here from the specimen growing at the university. Does anyone know where I can find this plant for sale in the London area? Canadale's doesn't have it. The only sources I've seen online so far are Hortico's in Waterdown and (possibly) Sweet Grass Gardens near Brantford.
As a last resort I can always try collecting seed from the university shrub in the fall... if it sets any this year.

Barb,
I just went out & checked - unfortunately I seem to have either planted or given away all my Aesculus parviflora ... They were grown from the seed of my original bush & from seed collected from UWO's bushes :o)

I purchased my first plant years ago at a nursery in Delhi - I have looked in the phone book & they don't seem to be in business anymore. You might try giving 'Garden of Eden Tree Farm' a call 519 866-5269 They are just south of Hwy 3 between Aylmer & Tillsonburg and they grow an interesting selection of trees & shrubs.

I also found a link to Conan Nurseries (near Hortico) and they list 4 different pot sizes of this.

good luck it is a beautiful bush!
