I planted pulmonaria in the woods along the path. Something ate it. Hmmmm, now what would eat pulmonaria?

If they are in the woods and you have deer...deer. They love mine. I've takin' to spraying them with a deer repellent (one I make myself). Anything else being eaten?

The caffeine in coffee grounds is poison to slugs.

In my experience, pulmonaria are highly deer resistant.

Hi Lacey

We have a woodchuck/groundhog living in our yard that loves to munch on my pulminaria. That would be my guess.

Pulmonaria have irritating hairs and produce toxic substances. Whatever ate it has an itchy tongue and a tummy ache. Serves them right.
