Problem with my Redbud

Posted by nifer07 6 (My Page) on

I have a two year old redbud tree that I decided to transplant this May (~4 weeks ago). Prior to transplanting, the branches had buds. Now, it has no buds, leaves or anything. Is my redbud dead or just shocked? Thanks for the help.

Time will tell. Make sure you treat it well for a while. Sometimes a plant appears dead and then surprises you the next season.

Good luck with your redbud. I have a Jap maple and a dogwood I need to move this fall. I just know we're going to kill them.
