| For mail order I have used Ernst Conservation Seeds (http://www.ernstseed.com/) a number of times for plants and seed. Their catalog is pretty good about specifying the "ecotype" of the species and whether the species is native or not. I have also used Wild Life Nursery in Wisconsin (I don't think they have a web site) for bare root plants and seed -- I am growing some Duck Potatoes I got from them and they're big now. I am also attaching a link for native plant nurseries for the Chesapeake Bay area which includes a few New Jersey nurseries. I have not done business with any of these New Jersey nurseries so I can't comment on their quality. My general experience is that nurseries that specialize in native plants or in reclamation have some good stuff. |

| Just across the river in New Hope, you should try Bowman's Wildflower Preserve. Seeds are available by mail order. They have a plant sale coming up in September. |
