Can anyone identify this

I'm guessing a bird dropped this in my garden because there is nothing in my yard that resembles this in any way.
anyone know what this is?

It is a Datura.

Definately a Datura. I'd hazard a guess that it might specifically be Jimsonweed (D. stramonium). It is a toxic plant so be sure to keep kids and pets away from this one.

I had the "Moon Flower" variety. They will self sew fairly easily, so if you do not want them again next year cut off those prickly seed pods before they dry and break open. I wish I had enough sun for then here!

Looks like Shoe fly(sp.) to me,a poisonous yet interesting wild plant.
