Restricted use chemicals

| If you are interested in being able to purchase restricted use herbicides and pesticides now is the time to start looking for classes. They are presented in each state differently. Some are non-credit community college courses, state agriculture department, or other groups so I can not give a definative group to contact. Here in the KCMO area these classes are handled by the community colleges and at some high schools. |

| Your county cooperative extension agent should know when and where the classes are held. Their number will be listed in the government pages of your phone book. Also, an experienced person or manager at a good garden center should know (not the big box hardware store that just happens to sell chemicals!) |
