| This looks to be "Geranium robertianum" or "Herb Robert". It has tiny pink flowers that bloom around June/July up here in southern Ontario. Where I live it is a non-native. It is naturalized from Eurasia and North Africa. Some states list it as a "non-native INVASIVE". The star-shaped, five lobed leaf and the hairy stems are the most prominant feature aside from the tiny pink flowers. Barb southern Ontario, CANADA |

Barb , thanks, went to google images and put up that name. Most were slightly different, however a couple were very similar, so I assume ( I know I'll get in trouble saying that )that there are several varieties of it. Some were more pentagon shaped , some had wider leaves, some real narrow, etc. Next year I will watch for the flowers ,that is if it lives thru the winter .I will now look it up to see if its a perenial.. I never realized how hard it was to look up and find info on plants that I dont know about . But at the same time its a lot of fun and you get a chance to meet nice people like you .Thanks ...Tom |

| LOL..the same thing happened when I didn't know what Herb Robert was... I looked it up and saw the wide variation in shapes (of the leaves) that you did. Don't worry, if you leave the plant there, it will INDEED survive the winter and flower for you. Herb Robert is a prolific plant that is most areas is considered invasive so I'm sure you'll have no problem seeing flowers next growing season. :o) Barb |
