| This plant is on a trail where I bike. It's in either shade or mottled sunlight, and probably moist soil. I thought the flowers were quite pretty and was wondering if anyone knew what sort of plant it is?

| Jewelweed there is also a rarer yellow form. Although some discount the use I find the sap is good to heal a poison ivy infection on my hubby but some people apparently have skin rashes with the sap so use caution. The humming birds and butterflies love the plant. |

| Yep. Jewelweed or touch-me-not. This one is Spotted Touch-me-not Impatiens capensis. The yellow species ( Impatiens pallida) is lovely too but it isn't as common. Here's an article on touch-me-nots that I thought you might enjoy.... FataMorgana |
