| I found out what it is! It's called Virgin's Bower. I did not take the original picture. It was sent to me by a friend last fall and I just today learned how to get a photo on the forum. I asked her if she remembered where she took the picture and found out she didn't take the original either!She asked the person who did take the original and she referred me to her web page. She said they are blooming right now in our area......in the woods under pine trees near a creek....hanging on bushes. Here's her link |

| The feathery bit looks like the seed head of Virgin's Bower (Clematis virginiana), a native clematis vine. The berries look like dogwood or viburnum berries, likely the photo is of vines growing on a shrub. The photo is of the seed heads, the flowers were small and white early in July.
