Need an ID

A somewhat large plant (has flopped over) and has green "lanterns". I first noticed it some time ago and the lanterns still look the same (no blooms). It is in a slightly wooded/natural area at the back of my yard.

Depending on how "large" it is, could be ground cherry or bladdernut.

I was thinking ground cherry (Physalis sp.) also...

Nightshade family, closely related to tomatillos.
