Lilly of the Valley?

Posted by ikea_gw 7 (My Page) on

I found some dried up gray leaves in my backyard (just bought the house so I don't know what I have yet) and I wonder if this is lilly of the valley that has gone dormant after the bloom. The leaves are the right shape and there are maybe 4 or 5 of them on gray stems (6 inches) fanned out, laying on the ground. Any ideas? Thanks.

RE: Lilly of the Valley?

Lily of the Valley, Convallaria majalis (introduced species)and C. montana (native species), usually have only 2 or 3 leaves. See sketch on link below.
