| My grandmother said she learned this poem in grade school.
She taught it to me as a child. I have tried to do some research on the poem but have not had any luck. Has anyone ever heard this? "Spring has sprung!", said the bumble bee.
Grandmother is 77 now and in the hospital.

| Redoak - my dad used to recite that one too. I just did a quick google on it and found nothing except many other people wondering where it came from. It's from the 50's according to one "expert". The grass is ris, though, or riz, not rise, in my memory and in the other discussions of this lovely poem. |

| I remember this as a song from 40s or 50s. From memory, not complete, but I can sing it: Oh, spring has sprung, the grass is riz, |
