Oh, Pumpkin flower

of the hour

how brief your life will be

but in that hour

the flies an bees

will shower

such attention and care on you

soon tho I say

Those petals will curl

that once unfurled

and time will be done for you

still we can say we knew

the pumpkin that grew

from the pollen

the dancing flies and bees did share
