| Last year I took pictures at the Garden Writers Meeting and made an unofficial GWA calendar. I mailed the copies to everyone appearing in the calendar plus the officers and directors. I plan to do the same thing this year with a twist: Instead of a mailout I will put the calendar on my website as a .pdf file so the entire membership can download as many copies as they want. This will sure make it easier on me, not having to fool with printing, collating, stapling, hole punching, mailing list, envelopes, postage. The connection to garden writing is that each month will feature a picture of a famous (maybe) garden writer plus I have to come up with a caption for each photo. |
