Honestly now-can Ornithogalum Umbellatum bulbs ever be killed off

Round up won't phase them, though I didn't try painting it on them at full strength....as I just happened to think of that as a last resort.

I had 'thought' of maybe using some sort of a chemical sterilizer on the areas, but changed my mind about that, due to damaging the soil forever.

In the meantime, I can be found from late Feb until early May, with garden fork, hand trowel, buckets, and wheelbarrow spending all my spare (?) time digging the bulbs/bulblets (and the surrounding soil) out and wheeling it to the edge of the field.

Yesterday alone I probably dug 20 five gallon buckets, just in an area adjoining an existing bed, in the hopes of getting to enlarge it some.

I can't plant things where I want them here (unless they are planted in the bulb mess, so I end up making beds and planting just wherever the bulbs aren't....or where they are sparse, so I can clear the area.

Here is a pic of what most of the soil here looks like here in the spring...

The grey green stuff is wild onions...another beast.

I'd best close and go...I feel a rant coming on.
