Pesticide Burn?

chocochiplily

Hi! Wondering if you can help me!

I think that I accidently burned some young grass (about 2 months old)with a pesticide (a commerical granular pesticide that kills grub, chich, webworm, flea and etc.)

We had a major grub infestation last summer that ruined our lawn and didn't want it to happen again this year. This year our lawn was coming along fine and all the areas of damage were replaced with new seed and growing nicely until...we applied the pesticide. It seemed to burn or kill some of the new grass patches. We removed the dead grass with a thatch rake and to our horror alot of the new grass died..and some of the new grass that remains looks brown and fried. Any advice on how to bring the new grass back to life? Deep watering?

Many Thanks!

grass:bluegrass, rye, and fine fescue.

soil: loamy to clay loam
