edweather(Zone 5a/b Central NY)Updated Hey, whatever works! Agree the mix is probably good. I have to grow in containers due to my high water table. Larger pots are better, but I use only 5 gal buckets and my Brandywine Suddeth's was in a 10 gallon container this year....

robebUpdated They don't look bad at all. Homegrowns aren't always as pretty as store bought, but most of us don't grow them to look picture perfect. Let them finish ripening and enjoy.

sunnyk(Z6 SW Coastal CT)Updated I had a similar experience this season, except with 24 plants and at least as many tomatoes...mine was opossums. We put chicken wire up to completely enclose the planting area and are keeping our fingers crossed. Good luck.
