My Black Bamboo is growing well in a 14" pot. However,each of the old leaves are half brown and the ends of this years leaves are starting to turn brown. Is my problem keeping it too moist, too dry,over fertilizing or ????.

That is a common problem with black bamboo. All of mine gets leaves like that...potted and inground black.

I ignore it. It does not seem to be harmful to the plant and I never have been able to stop it.

That is a common problem with Black bamboo, and I have been told that it is evidence of over-watering. All of mine are in the ground and I don't have this problem.

How moist do you keep it? How often do you water?
