Wow, great pics Nev. I love that little fuzzy Tillandsia. What is it? The first arrangement in class s is gorgeous.
The mounted T. ionanthas are really something to strive for eh? Mine seem so slow, it will take forever to get a covered branch like that! I think my favourite plant, in its striking simplicity, and without flower is Aechmea chantinii. I hope mine darkens with abit of extra light.

Hi Brom adorer,

The only way I know of getting the name is to right click on the pic's and select "save as", you should then see the name of each plant jumbled up in amongst the rest of the computer language. (That is all except the foliage vrieseas in the Novice section, I stuffed the names up un those)

Japie, I don't know anything about Ae. Blood Stain, it's the first time I've seen it, but I will make some enquiries and get back to you.

Some nice plants there, but I keep going back to that mini Meyendorffii. How big is that plant, Nev? It looks very small and perfect, like a porcelain rose.

Thanks for the show! I've been mostly away for the last few weeks and wasn't able to make it down, so it was great to see all of those pics. Lots of very nice plants, but I have to agree with Lisa and Japie, that mini meyendorfii is a stunner
and so is that Ae. 'Bloodstain'. Thanks for sharing them.

The little Neo. Mini Meyendorffii is just 4" across. It's only small but it's a nice shape.

Firstly, if you want to drop round to my place I'll give you a plant of Neo. Mini Meyendorffii. However, before you go getting the plane ticket,I must tell you you'll probably be disappointed, as it's very unstable.

The lady who showed the plant pictured in our show, gave me a pup three years ago when I first saw it and commented that I liked it. She wouldn't sell it as she said it's very, very unstable and it's not often you get a good one from it.

I don't know what her secret is but I've been growing it since then and haven't got a good one yet. You will see from the pictures below just how unstable it really is.

I must say I have never tried to groom any for the shows, as I lost interest in it when I saw the initial pot turn out 75% deformed pups.

I just dragged these plants out today to see what was happening, and as you can see, still lots of varietion; although maybe I should have persevered with the one in the first picture and I may have got a second place in the show as there was only one entry in that section. It does have a pup coming however, so who knows, maybe next year?

You're right there, Nev. Instability is not always a bad thing. ;-)
