Maple shot around the deck is solid!

Your Picea pungens 'Walnut Glen' is looking really nice as well.

I agree with Will, the pictures of the more mature parts of your garden belong on the cover of a magazine! Great use of color. Your 'Walnut Glen' doesn't look like any 'Walnut Glen' I've seen before. Normally they're more golden, with bright new growth and gold-frosted old growth.

Great looking beds, though we have similar tastes, so I'm a bit biased. Love the sedum in the rocks, I'll have to try that some in my garden.

That's also the biggest 'Mucronata' I have seen so far.

Hope there's more beds and less grass in the future. :p

Great photos Alex. You have choice plants there and utilize them well for prime gardens.

Everything looks fantastic Alex! I especially love the deck view of your killer combo of A.s. 'Autumn Moon' and Hachonechloa 'All Gold'. That's a color/texture Wow! combo.

Thanks everbody for your kind comments. It means a lot coming from you folks, whose gardens I admire greatly.

Matt, my 'Walnut Glen' receives around 4-5 h direct sun, and in the spring my plant is a very bright shade of blue approaching gold. It has not yet started to display the characteristic gold frosting.

Will, the plant growing in the rock is a sempervivum. It amazes me how it manages to survive, especially over our Z6 winters. I dropped it into that crevice some 4 years ago and no subsequent maintenance whatsoever. I included a few more close-ups below.

Dan, I've been happy with 'Autumn Moon's performance here since I previously fried an A.s. 'Aureum' in the same spot. I've added another view of this pairing below.

    A few more...
