Dear Caitlin,

I notice that you like blue things. I have some tiny starts of the blue hosta seiboldii. They are three year olds from seed. They grow to be large searsucker leaved blue hostas with white flowers.

Lynda posted to the Green Elephant string yeseterday, that she has two forms of sunchokes, which is a perennial sunflower/vegtable. Last year she brought them too. I don't know how she does it, but these things are the size of potatoes. And I have never seen them in two colors red or white (the tubers that is.

Since you are permaculurist, I thougth you might like the tip.
