All figs like hot climate but some figs have open eye and moisture cause problems like souring and splitting.

In Dallas, Celeste is very good

Here in the Beaumont/Port Arthur area(ZN9), Marseilles Black VS, Atreano(never sours or splits), Col de Dame ought to do well(any variety), Tena and JH Adriatic.Probably many others, but most are still in trial here. Tim
