| I'm not real familiar with irises so pardon my terminology. I toured a friends garden and she had an iris with a green and white striped leaf. What is it and where do I get them? Is it too late to plant there here in zone 4? (I don't care about the flower color- I like the variegated leaves ! What kind of sun do they need?

| Iris pallida Full sun would be best. Search iris Pallida or Zebra iris. May be to late in the season to purchase or plant. |

| Iris foetedissima has a lovely variegated form, but insignificant flowers. There is also an I. japonica with variegated leaves. Cheers, Jan |
