New thoughts on cascading minis?

Does anyone have any suggestions for a cascading mini for use on a pot shelf? Because of weight, and shelf size, 14-16 in pot max, top of the pot would be 5 ft off the deck on inside, outside is second story (balcony rail) Heat tolerance important, fragrance a plus but not necessary, color not an issue, except preferably not white. (am partial to multis). IÂve tried "search " on various sites with mixed results.

Red Cascade is suggested at NorEast, and Sequoia.

Johns suggests Orange Honey and Sweet Chariot for baskets.

J&P comes up with Happy Chappy , Roseberry Blanket and Spring Fever (may not be minis) as their most compact and cascading.

Sequoia also has Red Fairy.

Search here on GW shows last posts in Â05 - favorites were Sweet Chariot and Red Cascade.

DonÂt want to make any more mistakes, tho I have a couple of friends who donÂt mind-they get to adopt still healthy roses that have merely outgrown what I can handle ;-)

All thoughts appreciated!

Thanks
